101 Linen fabrics, sizes + Cleaning Tips

Table linen is obsessed a serious problem for those of us with entertaining, patterns and sizes, colors and fabrics. For others, it can be confusing to buy or how we maximize our investment. Here are some of my fabrics and clothing styles favorite board to help gain a better understanding of this entertaining indispensable tool.

Sizes

70 "X70" - 1-4 people

70 "X80" - 6-8 people

70 "X108" - 10.8

70 "X126" - 10-12

Save the round - can be stored folded or rolled in a large role for the tissue cardboard remains flat, without wrinkles.

Tissue types

Bedding - the most common tissue, but for a long life and light weight. Easy to clean, spot treat stains immediately and can be washed at home in the cold. Iron the fabric store as you like.

Cotton - as frequently as the machine with a lower price, the most entertaining for casual, but can be used for a formal meal. Easy to clean, spot treat stains immediately and can be washed at home in the cold. Iron the fabric store as you like.

Boutis - also known as the Provençal quilt is a type name, the two fabrics sewn together with a stick to create an effect embossed. I wash only in the cold as soon as possible about the treatment. Air dry only as the heat from a dryer, an abnormal narrowing of the fabric or yarn and jargon of the canvas create.

Styles

Jacquard - spinning with a Jacquard loom, with a "chain letters", a series of punched cards, which raises and lowers the warp and weft to create the pattern on the fabric. Usually found in flaxseed.

Damascus - How jacquard pattern in the fabric with the warp and weft. Found all kinds of fabrics, although I do. Prefer cotton or linen

Canvas - French for the word "clothes" or "stuff". This tissue is a complex scenario tests, usually of a pastoral nature, couple or animal / herd. Traditional canvas has a background of white or cream with the scene in blue, green, black, red or black.

Spots

Power markets - For oily stain, let the cold water on the stain to prevent it from moving more. Pretreatment with liquid detergent and let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse. Use a cloth soaked in vinegar to remove the stain with a dry cloth to remove the stain to absorb behind. Keep blotting until the stain is removed, rinse thoroughly. If necessary, repeating the step of pretreatment liquid again followed by vinegar.
