Illegal garbage collection in the district costing taxpayers more than £ 3 million per year.
Newham spends more than any other local authority in England after the dice fly cleaning, a government study published today shows.
The Council broke with almost £ 3.5 million in Cleaning Tips 200 day 2014-15, a significant share of spending in London more than £ 25m.

"Fly tipping is a challenge for all local authorities," said a spokesman of the Executive Board.

The spokesman added that officers conducted training visits to businesses and residents about waste and "robust enforecment against those who made flout the law."

At the top of the garbage clearance, Newham also spent £ 135,000 sending more than 4,000 letters to the residents to clean up.
