Normally, the sun, sandals and sweet tea? After one of the coldest winters in recent history, spring is here! Since we are stuck all winter, chances are your social calendar and make lists are full. But do not let many tasks you have to have a crisis of March Madness.
With spring brings flowers and showers, and the season is likely to bring a busy schedule, said coach Eldridge Kentucky based Colene. There are simple ways you stress, without a hot mess to manage. That's what I call spring cleaning your life, and believe me, it is much cheaper than spring cleaning your windows and basic tips!
Here are ten tips that coach Colenes cleaning your life Spring:
A. Your mind: Focus on the positives - Take a sheet of paper and a pen and list all the impressive qualities you bring to the table. That's what I mean OAwesome list. I do not think that is too big or too small. I hope you to come up with more than 10 things you can do with yourself. Keep this list in your computer, make a copy and keep it in your wallet, etc. See what you see if you need a reminder of your genius.
Two. Your time: Pomodoro Technique - Pomodoro technique discovered in the last year and it has changed my life! The one application that allows you to concentrate on a task (usually 25 minutes) allows for a period. If you do not complete the task at this time, a short break, and then set the timer for 25 minutes. This method makes everything seem easier to handle.
Three. Your Home: Factory - My mother green thumb of anyone I know. I did not inherit the green thumb, but last year I grew basil and felt like a champ! Only the idea of growing something from a seed of an entire plant has a bit of a meditative experience. You do not grow on basil, but maybe a flower growing in a pot on the kitchen window. The seeds you plant (both the factory cover and life) can be transformed into something beautiful.
April. Your attitude: Be a little selfish - Okay, and sometimes you have to be a little selfish. I'm not suggesting that you put constantly over the other, but I would suggest that you honor your own needs. Your authorization to: Ask for and accept help from others. Celebrate your success in life. Be honest with others about your true feelings or opinions (tactfully, of course). If we. Not the art of self-care, which can lead to stress and anxiety, not practice, and in the spring is too large, if you feel depressed
May Your relationships: Quality time - Have to spend time with your partner without the phone, iPhone or other distractions? I love technology, but significantly reduces our ability to meaningfully with others in a face-to-face interacting part. To combat this, set time technology free lunch. Use the time to talk and enjoy each other's company.
6 Career: Find a mentor - the best I had done for me and my career, to find a mentor. The beauty is that a mentor can advise, consult, and because they probably experienced what happens with the best practices in real life. My mentors have supported me in countless ways. I was introduced to key players and encouraged me to take important steps in my career. Find someone you admire and you'll meet him in the tutor.
7 Your Finances: find ways to save money - Did you know that you can save some money on your bills, know the phone? For example, call your cable company and see if there are any discounts may be eligible. Ive got a discount for my phone in a certain county to work. Offering Google Sites coupon codes for online purchases. There are all types of savings available, you just have to look.
8 Your Wardrobe: Organize a swap - I love a party with friends, to get rid of the clothes that you no longer use. This is a great way to update your wardrobe without a dime. Your friends will love an excuse to get together and get rid of the clothes you can not wear. that's nothing, you can try to save or donate.
9 Your Health: Small changes in your diet - Beyond the consumption of sweetened beverages least think about other areas of the system where you can make small changes. Maybe you could try Meatless Monday, or reduce your intake of carbohydrates, one day a week. One of my favorites is to add an additional serving of vegetables at every meal, including breakfast. His small steps add up to big changes.
10 Your Karma: Volunteer - Take your time to help others. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and get bonus points karma. Use this time to an organization that you find care about the passion and give their time, energy and effort. The feeling of accomplishment that you can get from volunteering to increase welfare. He is also a good way to expand your network and social circle.
