ATLANTA (Press Release) - According to forecasts, affected a small break in the time in many areas by the ongoing floods in Georgia, the American Red Cross urges people in the weekend to remain vigilant. "Today we are helping some families begin the early stages of cleaning," said Eric Corliss, disasters Officer of the Red Cross Society of Georgia. As of this morning, social workers of the Red Cross is working with 125 families affected by the recent storms and flooding throughout the state.
