In Farmington: Cemeteries Association raises funds to repair vandalism

FARMINGTON - Once again, one or more strangers damaged and toppled many headstones and memorials in Pine Grove Cemetery. It is heartbreaking for the families whose stones have been damaged and for the city for this to happen. The great cemetery team has jumped in to fix everything and the Farmington Cemetery Association is accepting donations. To help with repairs, please mail a check to: Farmington Pine Grove Cemetery Association, PO Box 16, Farmington, NH 03835. There is also a Gofundme page : https://tinyurl.com/jr22bjj8

School reopening plan

From the School Board's Facebook post: All decisions are based on Farmington COVID-19 numbers and are subject to change based on known cases across the city. There is currently no mask requirement for students and employees. Local numbers are monitored and if they change the mask mandate can change. Every student or employee is free to wear a mask. All cleaning protocols are retained. Hand sanitisers are kept out of the classrooms. Social distancing is recommended whenever possible.

YMCA Programs: The school board has approved the YMCA pre- and post -school program . Further details will follow and will be published by the district and the YMCA. This will also be a topic of conversation for our parenting talks. Thanks to Mary Barron for the news.

This free six-week series is for parents and caregivers to prepare nutritious, healthy, and kid-friendly meals, with tips on grocery shopping, and more. For every class you take, you will receive a free grocery bag to try out the recipe as a family. If you have any questions, please contact Tara at NH Food Bank at twestenhiser@nhfoodbank.org.
