For the most part, children can be messy.
Either jump in puddles, get drenched or scribble with feathers.
If you are a parent, all the above and the story we tell you are known.
One mother was horrified when she left her daughter in the living room and found that she had scribbled on a gray velvet sofa with a pen.
After posting this familiar story on a popular Facebook page, the woman announced that she had turned the pen while cleaning the living room.
When she shared photos of smudges on the sofa of Mrs. Hinch's Facebook cleaning consultation , she wrote: "A two-minute shower and that will be one of those days."
Desperately she erased the tracks of the rebels for half an hour.
But nothing would work.
"(I foolishly left a pen behind) and after only 30 minutes of fat on my elbow, I have only one clean arm. Any ideas?" The woman pleaded.
Fortunately, other members of the group were full of suggestions, including the use of Ariel washing tablets and the use of cult-cleaning agents such as Elbow Grease.
But among the dozens of comments, hairspray was a suggestion that kept cropping up.
After trying the trick, the mother shared some photos of the results and seemed new.
The mother said cheerfully, "Like new, the hairspray worked very well and very quickly."
The hair spray contains alcohol that can help remove ink stains from fabrics such as clothing and upholstery.
