As your vacation progresses, make sure your health and safety come first when building the corridors. Follow these 11 steps to make your holiday and your New Year happy:
Wash your hands often: It's flu season, and although we all like to attend big family reunions and spend time with friends on vacation, our time together can help spread the cold. Wash your hands regularly with warm water and soap for 20 seconds. Wash hands usually for birthday.
Get Vaccinated: Vaccines Help Prevent Diseases and Save Lives. The only way to prevent some viruses, such as the flu, is to be vaccinated. In January, I returned to campus, ready to face the semester and the flu virus.
Managing stress: Everything about a vacation can be stressful. Take a break and find peace on earth when you feel overwhelmed by all the joy. There are healthy ways to deal with stress. This includes finding support, making contacts, finding a new hobby, moving and having a good rest.
Coat: Baby, it's cold outside ... and wearing suitable outdoor clothing will help you stay warm and dry. Wear light and warm clothing with gloves, hats, scarves and waterproof boots.
Buckle up: strap on , even for short rides on the river and into the woods and encourage others to do the same.
Take a look at the chestnuts that are roasted in the fire: Most fires in residential areas occur in the winter months. Do not leave fireplaces, radiators, food in stoves or candles unattended. Have an emergency fire plan and practice it with everyone in your home.
Do not drink and drive: When someone drunk, everyone on the street is in danger. Make smart decisions, do not consume and drive and help others do the same.
Stay physically active: This is the best time of the year to go outside. Stay active for at least two and a half hours a week. You can do this in your gym or on your local treadmill, but winter offers excellent outdoor activities including ice skating, skiing and tobogganing.
Smoke-free: Avoid all types of smoke or secondhand smoke. Smoking, in whatever form, increases the health risk.
Preparing food safely: holidays are synonymous with celebrations and meals. Remember to wash your hands and clean all surfaces frequently, avoid cross-contamination, cook food at the right temperature, and quickly put leftovers in the refrigerator.
Eat Healthy: Try to substitute a gingerbread for nutritious fruits and vegetables to reduce the risk of illness. Limit your portion sizes, especially foods with high fat, salt and sugar content.
We wish all members of our campus a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
