Online reputation management is a bigger and more important than ever theme. These days, colleagues and customers not only on your company's website; performing a search on Google for information on businesses and individuals, and then do the same on your favorite social networks.
What they could find easily derail a new account, project or business. With this in mind, here are three tips to clean up your act online:
1. Press and hold images and personal contacts outside their business accounts. If possible, attach a separate professional and personal social accounts, including Facebook and Twitter. This allows you to keep personal photos, communicate with friends and similar material from clients and colleagues. Why do you need to know if you're in town had a good night or not for a good cause them, or that friends and family are?
2. Keep good company (business). In some cases, you can "overlap" social contacts have between their personal and professional profiles. Make sure these people not to post things, or am I doing in a way that is likely to damage your reputation. If you are concerned that it completely move to your personal profile or Unfriend. You can always find online, but may be too large online risks.
3. Configuration Management privacy and security. It is not uncommon for me to hear that someone all of the personal information that is available to people complain on the internet these days, and then admit that they have absolutely nothing to her done to change settings data protection and social security. At least you should make sure that the people can not see your personal information, pictures, etc., without controlled in your network.
It is obvious that careful what you post on the annual accounts, which could be seen from the contacts and business partners. Keep in mind, however, that should also be aware of the company you are looking for and access are. Otherwise could be the his entire public life, what your business or your career for reasons that have little or nothing to do with you could damage it.
