It's Christmas time and everyone knows that the Caribbean makes Christmas a different holiday! Christmas, especially in Trinidad and Tobago, means a lot of painting, renovation and great cleaning! That's why we've put together some handy cleaning tips that will help anyone get the Christmas job done as quickly as possible. here:
1. Garbage collection
First take one or two of these Tuffy garbage bags and transport the garbage completely. You know how it can be, things pile up if you do not stay on them. If you carry a garbage bag with you, you can quickly remove unnecessary items. Then do it! Do not hesitate and do not ask if I will need it in the future ... because it only leads to hoarding. Get rid of everything that you have not used for more than 2 years. If it is usable, give it to someone who uses it!
2. BRING THE DISHES AND MUGS
After the trash, check the house to make sure you have plates, saucers, cups, and other kitchen utensils that you or other family members have left without doing anything. Do not worry at the moment, just wash them in the sink. In this way you can consolidate the disturbance in an area that you can deal with later.
3. Pick up the clothes
Take a laundry basket and collect dirty laundry. Sweep the house and put the clothes in the laundry area. If you have time, you can even start loading clothes while cleaning other parts of the house. We know that washing by hand takes some time. Therefore, you may need to keep the clothes as long as it suits you.
4. MOVE THE ROOM THROUGH THE ROOM
After the first operation, focus on cleaning from room to room. Return a box and take with you items that are not part of this room, eg. B. a children's toys in the living room. Once you've picked up the clutter in this room, straighten it out. Make the bed when you need it, or straighten the sofa. Once this piece is finished, continue to the next and continue throughout the house.
5. VACUUM AND CLEANING COUNTER
Once the rooms have been picked up, take this opportunity to vacuum or sweep. At this point, it may be easier to leave the kitchen so that the last item can be cleaned. It also allows you to group cleaning products and wastes. Clean the surfaces with a detergent of your choice and relax in the refreshing feeling of a clean room! Do not forget that Christmas includes window cleaning! It's important, so do not think twice. Clean the windows and change the curtains.
6. CLEAN THE BATH
Clean the sinks and if necessary use a glass cleaner in the mirrors. Clean the shower or bathroom with a spray. Sometimes you can even spray and leave it on while you clean another area of the house. Then come back and rinse.
7. CLEAN THE KITCHEN
Now you have gone through the whole house. It's time to clean the kitchen! At the beginning, keep all the dishes and kitchen utensils clean. For those who need to clean the cabinets and drawers, you obviously need to stack them in an area, clean the drawers and cabinets, and then store them. When done, collect all lost items at the counter or in the bills. After storing, clean the dirty dishes and do not forget to clean the fridge and stove. Finally, clean your kitchen counters. The decoration is entirely up to you!
