Once you've removed all of the crumbs and debris from your car, it's time to clean the seats.

For leather seats you only need a leather cleaner or a mixture of detergent or dish soap and water.

Instructions vary from product to product, but in general you need to gently clean your seats with a leather cleaner and a soft, clean cloth.

You can use upholstery cleaners and sprays on other seat materials.

While this step isn't necessary, it's a good idea to condition your leather seats after you've cleaned them.

Lease Fetcher recommends using coconut oil or olive oil to maintain the leather.

First test the oil on a small, inconspicuous area and, if successful, apply the oil in small amounts with a dry cloth to the remaining seats.

For additional security, you can also use a suitable leather care product.

Massage in, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, then wipe off the excess.
