COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way we think about germs. Common symptoms that we might have gotten rid of sooner, such as a sore throat, cold, or cough, are no longer just a minor discomfort or annoyance. For many Moose Jaw residents, it is now even more embarrassing to experience visible symptoms such as coughing or sneezing. Now more than ever, we don't want to look sick, and we certainly don't want to feel sick either.
While a cough or cold may seem mild, it can make children and adults unhappy. Nous commençons déjà à voir le rhume circuler, c'est pourquoi j'ai rassemblé quelques-uns de mes meilleurs conseils pour vous aider, vous et votre famille, à rester en bonne santé, and consisting of comment traiter A virus:
·
Don't forget your mask: The pandemic has shown us that wearing a mask, especially in public and crowded spaces, is a simple but effective way of keeping germs out of your nose and mouth. Keep wearing your mask this cold and cough season to avoid any pesky germs you may encounter. It's also important to remember that if you are uncomfortable, avoid contact with anyone to whom you can pass a cough or cold.
·
Keep Those Hands Clean: Frequent hand washing is one of the best ways to kill germs and keep them from spreading to other people. Be sure to wash your hands for 20 seconds, paying particular attention to the palms of the hands, backs of hands, between fingers, thumbs, and under the nails. If you need help keeping track of the time, try humming or singing the song "Happy Birthday" twice. If washing your hands with soap and water is not possible, I recommend using a hand disinfectant that contains at least 60% alcohol and ideally has an alternative on hand. Keep some in your handbag and your little one's backpack to keep their hands clean on the go. Clean hands are an important step in protecting yourself from germs.

Talk to your local pharmacist: Despite your best efforts, you sometimes get a cough or cold. We were all there! If you or a loved one is sick, over-the-counter medication can provide quick and effective relief to make you feel like yourself again. Your local pharmacist can help you find the right medicine to treat your symptoms. If you are unwell, a family member will help discuss your symptoms with a pharmacist or get advice over the phone so that others can stay healthy and safe. Some pharmacies also offer medication delivery services, which is a convenient option if you feel uncomfortable. Also, if you keep your medicine cabinet well stocked, you can be quick to prepare for colds or coughs so that you or your loved ones are better off as soon as possible.
There are many things we can do to protect ourselves and our loved ones during this time of cold and coughing. Be sure to go to your pharmacy this fall or winter for a flu shot. It's the best way to prevent the flu this season.
