City of Prince Albert said Halloween falls on a Sunday this year and more children are expected to get goodies. As last year, the city has created two posters that residents can print out to indicate whether they will be attending the celebrations.
"People's decision to participate must be respected. Halloween signs are an easy way to let people know if you're going for Halloween this year, "said Jim Toye, City Manager. "The posters were very popular last year, so we're making them available again this year."
Posters can be downloaded here .
Parkland Ambulance also offers Halloween safety tips, including waiting for the kids to get home to sort and review the goodies.
In a press release, Parkland Ambulance wrote, "Although handling is rare, a responsible adult should carefully examine all treats and dispose of any damaged, unpacked, or suspicious items."
Here are more safety tips.
