Early studies have shown that the new coronavirus RNA can survive on certain surfaces, including your beloved phone, for nine days or even longer , although there is insufficient evidence to determine whether the virus can infect you after such a long time. We used to be told we shouldn't use disinfectant wipes on our phone screens, but now Apple says it's okay to use Clorox and other wipes with similar concentrations.
The revised AT&T cleaning guidelines recommend "spraying a non-abrasive or alcohol-based disinfectant (70% isopropyl) directly on a soft, lint-free cloth and cleaning the device when it is switched off and disconnected from the power supply." . In an earlier version of the company's publication, the use of paper towels that were too abrasive was suggested (see below). After AT&T got closer, it switched posts to reflect the soft cloth. Samsung also said it can make a 70% alcohol-based ethanol or isopropyl alcohol solution that is applied with a microfiber cloth.
Another option for daily cleaning is to invest in a UV lamp like PhoneSoap . This ultraviolet light company claims to kill 99.99% of germs and bacteria. As far as we know, it has not been tested on this coronavirus strain.
How to clean the fingerprint marks on your screen
Fingerprint stains are difficult to avoid because your skin constantly produces oils. This means that every time you pick up your phone there are fingerprints everywhere.
The safest and most effective way to clean the screen is to use a microfiber cloth. If the screen needs urgent cleaning, dampen the microfiber cloth with distilled water and clean the screen. Avoid splashing water directly on the screen. This method can also be used on the back and sides of your phone.
You can also use a microfiber screen cleaning sticker that sticks to the back of your phone and is removed if necessary.

The best solution to remove sand and fluff is tape. You can place it along the folds and the speaker, roll it up and carefully place it on the connectors. The tape will remove any lint or debris that might get stuck on your phone.

Can you wash waterproof phones?
If you have a waterproof phone with protection class IP67 and higher , you can rinse it off with water. While these phones, like the iPhone 7 ( $ 169 in the aftermarket ) and newer phones and the Galaxy S, can be immersed in up to 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes, it's a much better idea to use a damp or wet cloth.
