Nobody wants to cook dinner in a dirty oven, but who wants to spend an afternoon scrubbing and scratching bones? It's a double-edged sword!
Well, one mom answered all of our prayers with her cleaning trick that will make your oven look brand new in seconds, and it's so cheap that you don't have to spend a lot of money buying expensive cleaning products that are expensive.
Fran Spencer, a member of Ms. Hinch's Facebook group, shared her wise advice online, and you might be surprised at your choice of utensils - it's a window cleaner! Honestly, is there anything better than a good cleaning hack these days, or are we just getting old?
Fran shared a video with the group of using a glass scraper to remove embedded grease from her glass oven door. We think we shouldn't give it up before we try!
Fran wrote: '* Warning * Disgusting oven alarm !!! I can never clean it because life is too busy but I have a glass scraper from eBay and WOW! 5 minutes later I clean the door! I then used the scraper Pink Stuff and a metal washer for the latest brands! No back pain rubbing all day - £ 3.95 well spent if you ask me! ".
'Sounds good!' exclaims another Frau Hinch fan. "How satisfying," said another rightly. And "Thanks for the tip," writes an enthusiastic fan.
Fran also responded to some comments by answering questions from colleagues and explaining that she hadn't preheated the oven but had since heard from many people that it helps loosen fat. Once you've decided to preheat the oven, make sure it isn't too hot when you start cleaning to avoid nasty burns.
