(KUTV) Salt Lake City - Cool Living Today David Moon, a respiratory therapist from Intermountain Outreach, has teamed up with Kari & Brooke with some tips on the use and maintenance of continuous presses.
- Cleaning / changing the accessories: Wash the mask after each use. Wash all equipment as prescribed, at least weekly. Immediately wash your face before putting on the mask. Change the filters or clean them as planned.
- Leak Correction: If your mask is leaking, you may need a new pillow or harness.
- Be careful with sensitive points: If you have skin and redness of the skin, wash yourself, check your pillow, let it heal, but understand why there is a break in the skin.
- Train yourself to use your CPAP, if you do not use it, it's useless. Practice the day, gradually increase your use, use the mask more frequently (even when disconnected).
- Be the owner of your dream! Follow a professional dream at least once a year, do not be a victim; Take possession of your sleep apnea and sleep therapy.
