Q I am an only child. My parents are both eighty years old. My father's health is very poor. You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's, are incontinent and spend most of your time sitting. My mother's health is reasonable for her age, in addition to the arthritis she has almost cut in half. They still live in the same house they moved into over 50 years ago when I was a kid.
After much persuasion, they get three or four visits a week from an agency that helps my father shower twice a week, dresses him for the next few days, and does some housework. In total, these tours last around four hours a week. My mom keeps complaining about the crowd
