She added, "It wasn't worth waiting 15 hours for them to get soaked," she added.
"I would have just stuck with steel wool and accepted that it would take a little effort to get rid of months or years of the build-up."

"You soak the racks overnight in the tub with a little washing-up liquid and in the morning it should be a miracle."
The housekeeper was disappointed the next day when neither a sponge nor a scouring pad could remove any of the stuck dirt, so she put the oven racks back in the bathroom and this time added some detergent.
"All of the media got soaked for 15 hours [and I still had a lot of scrubbing]," Kacie explained.
