What are your tips for easier spring cleaning?

Natalie: Make needs a list of the different areas in your home, the attention. Keep it simple and put your list in an obvious place where they can see. As you work through each area, there is nothing better than to cross the list!

Invest in a label printer! They are a lot of fun and have many applications in the home. The labeling elements, other family members know where things are.

Choose a time that works for you and if you have to work at its best. I am an early riser, so it is the best time to declutter and organize for me. If you're a night owl, is perhaps the best time for you to attack an area.

Any advice for people who think to fear Frühjahrsputz, or do not know where to start?

Natalie: Do not try too! If it is too overwhelming for you, start in an area of easy - it could be a box, a shelf, drawer, etc. Begin with small steps gradually able to problem areas. Celebrate their achievements, no matter how small.

How often does "spring" be effectively cleaned?

Natalie: I recommend at least once every season. A new season brings changes and new beginnings is a great time to declutter and reorganize! Each new season brings a chance to recover and remove the spaces that we no longer need. The larger your family, more often than you can have a "spring cleaning", especially if you have kids!

What are your proven strategies to cope with a particularly difficult area?

I could not live without my boxes of bananas to use in order to "hold", "Discard" "Done" and "Move". Sometimes even a "Think" box for items that can be reviewed at the end of the session. Get up before you start set. Thus, each element has a place to go, and on what to concentrate in front of you, without the space, leading to distraction.

Then focus on an area, a shelf, drawers etc. surface and begin there to work methodically, from left to right, from top to bottom. Finally, make the "ask 10 questions, when declutter." These questions will really help you through the process.

What not to do to your superiors?

NOT just begun - do not hesitate! Spend some time, pop in your calendar, address book or phone and stick with it! The output is often the hardest.

Krempel not first and storage purchases until you've done. Once you have decluttered you know exactly what kind of memory you need and how much.

Do not check your closet - do not go buy new clothes before you see what you already have. Keep only the clothes that you want to take and how you are.

Not give the items you love or use most for charity - do not let sit around the house for you or others to dive again! Put them in the car, so that it is ready, the next time you are dropped pass your local charity shop.
