Eight tips for effectively spraying a floor

In North America, schools are now in the final stages of preparing their buildings for the fall season. One of the most important tasks is the removal and restoration of the soil. However, many cleaning professionals have taken action to extend the finishing cycles, sometimes even 24 months.

However, the effectiveness of this strategy depends heavily on the fumigation of the soil.

Slightly lost, the spray-polishing has resurfaced not only to stretch the finishing cycles of the floor coverings, but also to eliminate the marks of heels, stains, splashes and shiny floors.

James Flieler, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Charlotte Products Ltd. , explains some of the key steps in this process:

  1. Remove cables from the work area with wet floorboards.
  2. Sprinkle and moisten the floor with a neutral pH cleaner of good quality.
  3. Use a cleaning solution that has been specially developed for spray polishing: "Sometimes cleaning professionals mix their own preparation, it is always better to use a product that has been specially developed for this task."
  4. Start at the back end of the area and go back to the exit.
  5. Always spray the spray directly on the floor: "Bear in mind that small amounts can go far."
  6. For a low-speed ground machine with a clean polishing pad, move the machine from side to side over a range of about three feet above the ground. This must be done twice.
  7. Leave the machine in very dirty areas to remove. In some cases it may be necessary to cleanse these areas with some "elbow grease".
  8. Finish the floor with dust.

"Some other things to remember," says Flieler. "Never let the spray solution dry, if it does, clean the [floor] area and spray again, and for the best results, do not rush into the process." Move slowly on the floor. take the shine out. "
