STATEN ISLAND, NY - Police are seeking public help to identify a suspect who is believed to be involved in a robbery on Friday at Concord Cleaners.
According to the police, the suspect went to the New Targee Cleaners on Rue Targee 1132 at 5:30 pm. Friday and hired a worker in the entertainment. The police reported that they had requested dry cleaning the same day before leaving the grounds.
The man returned to the store and demanded that all fall to the ground with a knife, police said.
A spokeswoman for the New York City Police Department said the woman who spoke with the knife to the suspect resisted and refused.
The suspect and a worker participated in a dispute in which he received a small wound in his abdomen, the police said.
The victim refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.
The suspect, described as a man between 20 and 25 years old and about 6 feet tall, earned about $ 500 in cash, police said.
