(WBNG) - A local cleaning company offers corona virus cleaning services that you can do at home.

Debrah Godbay founded Brooms over Broome almost 30 years ago.

"I saw everything and tried everything," he said on Wednesday.

The product his team uses takes weeks to research methods and comes straight from a recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Godbay said, "It's a simple solution to a third cup of bleach for every gallon of water ."

It is a solution that, according to the company, is necessary for management.

The team said the mixture is effective in getting rid of the virus, a 12-message statement on the CDC website confirmed.

Brooms over Broome uses the solution for the so-called contact point cleaning, a procedure also recommended by CDC.
