"Iyanla: Fix My Life" could be the best reality show

If I could just watch a reality show for the rest of my life, I would choose Iyanla : Fix My Life . No other series can offset the drama and salvation involved in the healing process, if this masterpiece is the spiritual life counseling of Iyanla Vanzant.

The general pattern of an Iyanla Episode : Repairing My Life is as follows: A guest who wrote the show for help comes to Iyanla's door with an incredibly heartrending story. The guest (or guests) then sits down for a preliminary interview with Ms. Vanzant. At that moment, Ilyla sees if her clients are ready to take her on the unsafe healing course. (Spoiler: Generally they are not). Iyanla then prepares her guests for healing so that they can talk about their trauma and get in touch with vulnerability through personalized exercises. (Oprah copyright). In general, this is a dramatic process that gives the program a series of "tweetable moments," as Oprah would say. (She lives the tweets every week.)

If you no episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life have seen, I have to ask the person with the same name that runs one of the programs with the highest OWN rating. Without Iyanla there would be no solution .

Iyanla Vanzant is an autonomous, inspirational speaker and author who became known in the late 1990s for her popular segment on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Wise in relationships and demonstrated a medium-term ability to guess the hidden trauma of humans.

Iyanla's first attempt at a television program was not produced by Oprah, but by Barbara Walters for ABC. The original vision for Iyanla was very different from Fix My Life . For example, the day interview program showed transformations and cleaning tips. Fortunately for us, however , the Iyanla was short-lived and in 2012, Ms. Vanzant returned to Oprah to start Fix My Life .

Reality TV is known for arranging moments that are anything but "real". I do not think Fix My Life is immune to this problem, but I appreciate the fact that viewers can see the woman behind the curtain. Iyanla often hosts digital extras that are being released on YouTube after a new episode of the Fix My Life series . In these talks, she talks with consultants and producers to explain what happened behind the scenes. As a person who has been disappointed with reality, this great attention to the truth is greatly appreciated.

The biggest gift of Iyanla is to take on the challenges of a life and make it universal. This message may be lost in translation when a famous guest appears on the sofa Iyanla.

"I make famous people to improve the pitch," said Iyanla in Watch What Happens Live . "I want to help see these people as ordinary people in the audience."

For some, the mix of notoriety and Fix My Life is not hope but a controversy. The show is accused of annoying the rich and famous for higher ratings, and some of these episodes are more about public embarrassment than cure.

Although I can choke on a new season of Fix My Life in a few days, I'll ignore any episode that shows a reality TV star. It's not because the story of a star is not important and deserves to be healed. It's just that I do not want to be in a critical place when I see this show, because this show is completely lacking in judging others, and for many of these celebrities, it depends on what Iyanla said about a work by Love and Hip Hop in "Reality Rehab", a recent episode of Fix My Life .

"She did not come here to heal completely, she came here to be seen with Iyanla Vanzant.

When Iyanla works with people on the ground floor with deep problems and does not want fame, magic can take place. Iyanla and her team can lead emotionally isolated people to successful paths, either through rehabilitation programs and specialist nursing care, or through healthy habits and new career paths.

If you feel intimidated by getting into the world of Fix My Life , play "Back in Brooklyn," the first episode of the current season, and decide for yourself if Iyanla will become your new obsession. This first episode focuses more on the obligations and personality of Jason's speech than on the healing of a particular person. If you like a personality bigger than Iyanla's life, you will enjoy the rest of the series. If you scratch your head at the end of the episode, it may be better to use another guru.

IYANLA: Fix My Life is broadcasting new episodes on the Oprah Winfrey network every Saturday.
