The spring cleaning is to move with the old and the interior. Now that the holidays are over and the warmer months are approaching, this is the perfect time to focus on personal well-being and nutrition. The removal of bad habits can gradually bring more clarity into your life and lead to healthier decisions.
Here are some spring cleaning tips to restore your rhythm this season:
Eat herbs
It is not necessary to become vegan or vegetarian to enjoy the benefits of a herbal diet. Attempting to prioritize fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and sources of plant proteins (beans, lentils, nuts without salt, etc.) is the foundation of a nutritious diet. This is the perfect time to reduce red and processed meat. We know that over-consumption of red meat is associated with an increased risk of certain cancers, especially breast and colon cancers. Red meat contains heme iron. Although iron is essential to health, this type of iron has its own toxicity and can promote the formation of carcinogenic compounds in the body. In addition, red meat is often accompanied by unhealthy sides.
hydration
Almost 60% of your body is water. This essential nutrient gives life to each of your cells, not just to keep you alive, but also to keep your body functioning optimally every day. We know that caffeinated drinks such as coffee, tea and soda can further dehydrate the body. If you regularly drink a lot of caffeine, shake slowly and reduce it to one cup a week. Try to make the most of your hydration with H2O. Soak your water with a few slices of lemon, lime and orange. Proper hydration will allow your kidneys to filter blood waste and eliminate urine. This keeps your body clean.
exercise
Physical activity has countless health benefits and can promote blood circulation in the body. Regular exercise can promote fat loss and weight control, which may reduce the risk of certain diseases and medicines in the future. Add at least 30 to 45 minutes of exercise at least three times a week to increase metabolism and develop endurance and strength. Always consult a doctor before starting a training program. Even gentle exercises and meditation can have a positive effect on stress and composure.
Is there something you want to do for your health, but still postpone it? Have you thought about starting spinning lessons, but it still bothers you? You may have studied the preparation of meals for a while, but you have not yet taken the step to prepare your food in advance. If you can think of something, the change of season is the perfect time to apply these new healthy habits. Try your luck and enjoy the benefits of a healthy life.
