If possible, remove the balloons so they can soak in the sink or bucket. Any accessories that cannot be removed can be washed with a cloth dampened with the cleaning solution.
TIP: A non-toxic light cleaning solution can be used to soak the lights or applied with a damp cloth. It's also great to use in a vaporizer.
• 1 2/3 cup of baking soda
• ½ cup of liquid soap
• ½ water
• 2 tablespoons. White wine vinegar
Use a soft green scrubbing sponge to remove stubborn dirt from crevices. Most of the dirt can be easily removed with the cleaning solution, sponge or cloth.
Replace non-working lamps and clean the base of the lamp.
For ceiling fans, use a paper towel to remove large amounts of dust before cleaning them with a damp cloth . After removing the topmost layer of dust, use a cleaning solution and a damp cloth to properly clean the fan blades. You shouldn't have to dry them out once your cloth has been wrung out well.
TIP: Now is a good time to check the lightbulbs in your oven, refrigerator, and cabinets to make sure they are working.
