RICHMOND, Virginia - As spring is in full swing, many are starting to think about cleaning up their rooms.
CBS 6 works for you with tips on how to let go of some of the things that are emotionally attached to you that could collect dust and clutter your home.
Gretchen Moen, head for the cutting of disorder at Cut the Clutter RVA , says that it is helpful in organizing to start with categories that are easier to limit such. B. the kitchen pantry.
Once it is time to get rid of these items, take them out of storage and find ways to enjoy them.
"Think of your grandmother's collection of teapots, all of which are packed in a box to collect dust in her attic," said Moen. "Instead of taking three of your favorite teapots from your collection and putting them in a china cabinet at home and enjoying them, think about it."
Moen advises customers to choose one to three items from a collection and donate or sell the rest.
