"We fit, we sand everything, we level and then we start again. Once you go through one block you move on to another and then start over, so it's an endless cycle, "said Fulmes.
Fulmes says Argo is always patrolling the main streets to make sure they stay bare and dry. Argo is always full at all times, according to Fulmes, and when it comes to big storms like last weekend they usually hire a different team like Graders to handle the bulk of it.
She says the public's patience is key right now.
"Just be careful when driving, we live in the north and we do our best. We're on the move and our families are on the move too. To be honest, we do our best and we just can't be everywhere at the same time.
The city of Fort St. John also posted some winter tips on Facebook , including driving conditions and extra time to get to your destination.
The city also reminds residents that winter sand is available for residential use in the public work building and in the city center across from the Lido and that shovels and buckets can be brought along.
