I would use the gel on one half of the mirror and the cream on the other half. In some videos people apply the shaving cream with a microfiber cloth , in others they spread it with their hands; Again, I would try both methods.

Many #CleanTok videos feature people using excessive amounts of product. Although I'm usually more cautious, this seemed like an opportunity to go a little crazy. I put a scoop of golf gel on the cloth, which then got bigger; It was way more than I needed. Knowing it was too much, I went ahead and applied it to the mirror. I left about a third of the mirror intact to control the defog component.
I then switched to regular shaving cream and sprayed it directly onto my hand. I tried to learn from my previous mistake of using too much with the gel but ended up having too much. I went ahead and smeared it onto the mirror in a circular motion.
Since the mirror was almost covered in shaving cream, I grabbed a clean microfiber towel to wipe it all down. In the videos it looked like people were using the same cloth they apply shaving cream with, but mine was too messy. It took a few minutes longer than the videos shown, but I put that down to using too much product. The shaving gel side left a fuzzy layer that took a little more work to buff off, but eventually dissipated. Before judging, I turned on the shower and let the room fill with steam to see what would happen.

Did the shaving cream trick work?
So I ended up with a shiny, fog-free mirror? Well yes and no. My mirror definitely looked cleaner than when I started, but it didn't look any better than it did with Windex. However, the trick prevented the mirror from fogging up. When the bathroom filled with steam, the part without shaving foam immediately became cloudy, while the other part remained almost transparent.
Which shaving cream worked best? Classic shaving cream was the way to go. The side with it never had to be polished, looked cleaner and didn't tarnish at all.

For stubborn stains, you'll need to leave things longer. Rodriguez-Zaba recommends adding about 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide to the toilet bowl and using a toilet brush to distribute the solution evenly throughout the toilet. Leave the hydrogen peroxide on for 30 minutes and then rinse it out.
On deep-cleaning days, this method helps keep your bathroom sparkling clean, says Adriana Aziz , operations manager at MaidForYou home cleaning service. First, put 1/4 cup of borax down the toilet and flush with water and a toilet brush. Next, add a cup of vinegar and let the solution sit for 20 minutes.
While the solution is settling, use a disinfectant spray on the other parts of your toilet. "That includes the toilet seat and the tank," explains Aziz. "Don't forget to clean under the toilet seat as this is one of the dirtiest areas of the toilet." Once the borax and vinegar have settled, scrub the inside of the bowl with a toilet brush. Flush the toilet and it should be sparkling clean.

When you're done scrubbing the toilet, you might be tempted to put away your paraphernalia and exit cleaning mode. Not so fast! Rodríguez-Zaba points out that to properly (and hygienically) care for your brush, you should put it aside. "The biggest mistake I see is people scrubbing their bowl and putting the brush back in its holder," she says. "This will eventually make the brush very dirty and gross as it gets submerged in bacteria-filled standing water." Instead, allow the brush to air dry by placing it between the toilet and the toilet seat for about an hour.
