GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – Kraft Heinz announced a voluntary recall of approximately 5,760 cases of Capri Sun and Wild Cherry juice drink mix.
The voluntary recall comes after a diluted cleaning solution used in food processing equipment was introduced onto a production line at one of the factories, the company said.
Only wild cherry-flavored Capri-Sonne products with the following case information are affected:

The expiry date stated on the products is June 25, 2023.
The company said the issue was discovered after receiving multiple complaints about the taste of the affected product. The company said it is actively working with retail partners and distributors to phase out potentially affected products.
Anyone who has purchased these items is requested not to consume the product and may return it to the store where it was purchased.
Consumers can contact Kraft Heinz at 1-800-280-8252 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, to learn if a product is part of the recall and to receive a refund.
