A woman struggling to find the cause of a foul smell in her kitchen left a group of unvoiced cleaners after she spotted the salvage tray in her fridge.
Charlotte Ann from Nottingham, UK, spoke with Facebook cleaning group, Ms. Hinch, to share a photo of mold and putrid liquid accumulating on the bottom of her refrigerator.
In her message to the online community of more than 100,000 members, she explained that she had never noticed that refrigerators have a tray for collecting fluids.
This message was immediately commented on by others who were unaware of drip trays and by those who sought advice on how to clean their own.

Many Facebook users were amazed that they did not know the drip containers and that they were "frustrated" because they had not properly cleaned their refrigerator.
One person wrote, "My God, I never knew, I always had autonomy, but I've integrated it now, I'm empty, I really want to clean mine!"
Another photo of himself says, "Come on, Charlotte Ann, I want to kiss you and kill you at the same time, bbz, as if I never knew ... now how to fix it."
A third party added: "I did not know! Mine! Integrated! How do I get there? Where exactly is it?"
Several threads of the thread tried to explain the purpose of the drip containers and to clean them as much as possible.
One person wrote: "... this little hole is supposed to drain the water, you have to clean it with a long pipe cleaner or with these very thin brushes".
Another said, "Pour down into a container on the compressor in the back of the refrigerator, the heat of the compressor evaporates the water, but must be removed and washed away."
In response to the thread, Ann revealed that she had discovered her drip tray at the bottom of her refrigerator.
She continued, "Mine was over the engine in the stern, mine's falling off, making sure to throw it well if caught."
