10 sinks (daily)
It is no exaggeration to say that your sink should be cleaned every day. You brush your hair, you cut your beard, teeth and more in front of the sink every day. This can lead to accumulation of hair and stains from cured toothpaste, which may be difficult to remove.
It's a good idea to keep a bottle of wet wipes in the bathroom so you can quickly scrub all surfaces. This makes cleaning your life and bathroom easier and eliminates some things that can make it uncomfortable.
9 Empty the trash (1-2x / week)
Generally, we do not store huge containers in our bathroom, which can fill up smaller ones quickly. It is recommended to empty it once or twice a week to prevent the contents from getting to the bottom. This gives your room a neater look, which can be done in less than 30 seconds.
It's a good idea to line up the garbage in the bathroom with a grocery bag or other small bag to make it easier to empty and leave. No one likes to look at their own dirt, and you should not, so it should definitely be part of your routine.
8 bathrooms (1-2x / week)
The bathrooms are disgusting and the touch is worse. Cleaning the toilet ball once or twice a week can help minimize the amount of work required for thorough cleaning. If you leave your baths infected, rings may form in the bowl that may not seem to be left.
A simple scrub with a little detergent should be enough to give your bathroom a fresh look. If your rings do not come out, you should buy a pumice stone that will help you remove the remaining thick patches.
7 mirrors (daily)
The same goes for the mirror and sink as they tend to get dirty. Toothpaste usually ends up in our mirrors, and if left alone it hardens and may not be removed. You can use a cloth specially designed to clean toothpaste before it becomes a problem later in the week.
Microfibre cloths are best for glass, as other cloths leave lint or stains. This may initially seem to be a disadvantage, but the two seconds you need to erase are worth it.
6 Wash the bathmat (weekly)
Most bathrooms usually have at least one bath mat, which absorbs water from the feet after showering. They should be washed every week because they can start to smell wet when they are allowed to sit.
This not only improves the smell of your bathroom, but also extends the life of your battered bath mat. You may think you do not have the time, but the few minutes it takes to put it in the washing machine will make a difference in your dirty bathroom.
5 spare towels (4-7x / week)
You may have a bad habit of using your towels over and over, but in fact they should be replaced every day or every other day. If they hang too long, they can start to smell moist, which in turn can make you feel like your lavender shampoo.
If you do not want to clean your towels every other day, you may consider buying enough towels for the week so you only have to throw a single load. The baskets are also good for storage in the bathroom. So always remember to not reuse towels lazily.
4 scans (2-3x / week)
During the week, a lot of dust and dirt will accumulate in your bathroom. Therefore, it is always a good idea to sweep it two or three times a week. This number may seem exaggerated, but you'll be surprised how much it accumulates in your pickup.
This method not only keeps your bathroom clean, it also makes it easier for you to finally immerse yourself in your deep-cleaning routine. That way, you can focus on something else, such as: Grout or doors instead of the scraps of soil you find.
3 cleaning (weekly)
You should breathe easier because you only have to take out the mop and bucket once a week. This task can be cumbersome if you set up your mop with a straight head and fill the bucket with soap and water, but you can make it easier. If you have a small bathroom or do not care about your cleaning clothes, try washing the floor by hand.
Not only does this reduce the amount of consumables you need, it also helps you avoid getting rid of dirt in a corner. A single piece of cloth is enough and you can even use another cloth to dry at the same time, if you want to make sure nobody is left behind.
2 shower curtains (monthly)
The shower curtain is one of the aspects of our bathroom that many of us forget. It should be cleaned or replaced monthly, and it may be of interest to buy a cheap plastic wrap. You can use the plastic lining inside the curtain. Because of its low cost, it is a replacement that needs to be replaced every month.
A shower curtain, also made of plastic, can be washed with two towels if you do not want to rub it by hand. If you have mold spills, you can round off your clothes with vinegar and baking soda instead of replacing everything.
1 shower and bath (weekly)
Shower and bath should be cleaned once a week as less soap will accumulate on all surfaces. If you have layers of soap scum that will not come off, it is advisable to spray them once, let them rest and spray again before cleaning. You may need to use a sponge or sturdy brush to fix the problem.
A window cleaner should only be used in showers with glass doors, otherwise scratches may occur. It is also a good idea to buy a small squeegee so that you can remove all the water from the glass before it starts to discolour.
