Keep your garbage free Aliso Viejo: Tips, cleaning events in your city

ALISO VIEJO, CA - If you see a discarded box, package, or bag, you can shake your head, but do not miss it, take it instead!

I taught my kids to follow this little rule and thought that if we all intervene a bit, we could make a big difference.

In Aliso Viejo, mark your calendar for an upcoming event to clean up local parks and trails. The city of Aliso Viejo has announced the September for the next organized cleaning event, but that does not mean you have to wait.

Make a difference in your community by helping clean our environment and cleaning the stream from September 8th to 11th on Saturday, September 21st at this year's Aliso Viejo Trails event!

Volunteers, who must wear appropriate clothing and closed shoes or hiking boots, are offered free refreshments. Wear garden or work gloves if you have them. Volunteers meet at Aliso Viejo Ranch.
