GQ : What's the biggest mistake men make when growing up ?
Antunes: Do not be patient so your beard grows. Many men want to cut their beards because they say it itches or does not work well, but it's just one phase of the growth process. First, let your beard grow for at least three weeks to reach its full potential. As long as you paint, cleanse and care for your beard, you will receive a healthy and well-stocked beard. GQ: What is the best way to get your own beard to home form if you do not want to ruin the first pass?
Antunes: Always start at the bottom of your clipping. This forms the basis of your beard. Then draw on the cheek lines. This end result will become your level. Antunes: The classic ointment is an indispensable hair care product for black and white men. I use Rich's ointment Rich by Rick Ross because it gives the hair a long, clean finish. This will not disappoint you at the end of the day.
GQ: For the daily beard style, do you prefer balsams or beards oils ?
Antunes: I do not use balm for the beard or for myself or for others because it leaves residues on the beard. Personally, I prefer beard oils, especially because they leave a beautiful shine while moisturizing. Another advantage is that beard oil moisturizes the skin and hair follicles.
GQ : There are many things in Beard Sculpture, including shaving cheek and neckline. What are your favorite products to form the beard: razors, blades, cream, after shave and nail clippers?
Antunes: I've used many different brands, but I prefer the Parker safety razor. They are affordable but, above all, very heavy and durable enough to be able to shave perfectly at any time.
My favorite blades are the Wilkinson Sword Classic Double Edge Safety Razors because they give me the look you want from the first try and do not skip like many other blades on the market.
I like to use Pacino's shaving gel to sculpt the beard. It moisturizes the skin for a clean shave and gives it a cooling effect.
My favorite whisker is the FX Skeleton Outliner Gold BaByliss Pro. The size, weight, balance and sharpness of the lines after adjusting the blade are excellent.
GQ : How often should men brush their beards and hairstyles?
Antunes: The boys need to be groomed every week to keep the look clean, especially with those tighter and more modern hairstyles. They are pushing back so fast! You can ignore the haircut for a week, but you should keep your beard once a week.
