Sadie's professional housekeeping service went to Instagram to uncover the unlikely trick, claiming that detergents would remove unpleasant smells each time they were unloaded, without damaging your toilet system.

The trick quickly went viral on social media and many were impressed by the simple trick of keeping their bathroom as fresh as a daisy.

But while many applauded the tip, others were a little more concerned.
