Thymol is a component of thyme oil, a natural blend of thyme plant compounds, according to the EPA . It can also be used in perfumes, food flavors, mouthwashes, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. According to the brand's website, "every CleanWell thymol cleaner contains a thymol concentration of 0.05% and is said to kill 99.9% of all germs, bacteria and viruses."
