Thanks to a clever trick by an Australian woman, cleaning the mortar on your floors has never been easier or cheaper.

All you need is about 5 and 15 minutes for a thorough and brilliant cleaning.

The woman, whose name is Mama Mila , shared the tip on her TikTok account and said it was "the homemade $ 5 joint cleaner that changed my floors."

The recipe contains 3% hydrogen peroxide, which is available from Pak 'n Save for around $ 3, and baking soda, which is available in various supermarkets for just $ 2.

Mix half a cup of baking soda and a third of a cup of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl. Apply the solution to your floors with a brush and leave it on for 10 minutes.

Finally, rub gently and then wipe the floor and the voila - "the mortar is cleaned and cleaned," says Mama Mila.
