How to clean a burned pan

Tumble dryer sheets can be used for a number of things, from descaling a kettle to cleaning your car.

Pour a little liquid detergent into the pot in question, then add enough water to cover the burnt part of the pot.

Put a dryer sheet in the water and slide it to the bottom of the pan so it's submerged.

Let it soak in soapy water for at least an hour, then discard.

Wash the pan and scrub the burnt remains with a scouring pad.
