Fill your bucket with hot tap water. Supply your pressure washer with water by connecting a garden hose. Gas tank pressure washers are rare, but if you have one, fill it up and plug the detergent hose into the hot water bucket. If your model has a detergent tank, fill it with hot water. Let the machine run at low speed for two minutes. If the water appears clean and without detergent, turn off the water supply and turn off the engine. Squeeze the trigger several times to remove excess water and pressure lines. When the engine has cooled, disconnect any remaining hoses from the device.
