When we were kids we used to cut old flannel shirts into rags to clean guns. No need to say. You had to keep cutting shards and getting stuck on the cleaning tip until the shotgun gauge you cleaned nested. After cleaning the gun, they also left cables in the barrel.
Those days are over! I can't tell you how smart SWAB-ITS are. Let's start by cleaning barrels. The head is a swab and on the back there is a plastic thread that threads into the 8/32 '' cleaning rod (shotgun measures 5/16 ''). Screw it in, apply oil / solvent and run it through your barrel like a plaster.
What I think is really cool are their cleaning swabs which they call their guns. They are like oversized swabs. They come in fine, pointed tips on blunt tips. They are great for getting into hard-to-reach places in your bedroom, on your slides, between the barrel and the supply, etc.
They also have a drill whip, which is a swab on the end of a brittle plastic string. Everything is made of plastic so you won't damage your scratches. It would be ideal for hunting in the field. For example Alaska, where the rain hits you. Sometimes for days.

Another interesting and unique feature of SWAB-ITS is that the swabs are reusable until they are gone. Do you get dirty? No problem, just wash them with Dawn Liquid Soap until they are clean. Let dry and repeat. (They also say you can use mineral spirits.)
