Mrs. Hinch fans have shared a 9p hack to stop mold from growing on windows. This is because mold can be a problem in many homes during the winter months.
Cold weather can make windows more likely to form condensation. This can create the perfect humid conditions for mold to grow.
But fans of Mrs. Hinch have shared a trick to stop mold from growing in homes, and it's a common household item. They say that small bowls of salt on windowsills will soak up moisture before mold can develop.

The suggestion came after a mother asked Ms Hinch's cleaning advice group on Facebook for tips and tricks to keep mold from coming back. She said: "I've just discovered black mold on my bedroom window seals.
"I try to air the room as often as possible, but this makes the room too cold and I have a baby. Does anyone have any good tips on how to get rid of mold and prevent it from growing back? I've tried several different tricks now".
Commentators were quick to offer their advice, as several people recommended putting salt on window frames.
While many of us already have some salt in our cupboards, if you need to buy some, Asda's table salt is just 65p for a 750g jar. It's recommended to use 100g of salt per window, meaning it costs less than 9p per use, the Mirror reports .
One person wrote: "Try putting bowls of salt on your windowsill, it helps with humidity and is pretty cheap too."
While another added: "I agree the salt trick is adorable but don't skip it if you have pets or kids who might eat it.
And a third said: "If the problem is not too severe I would recommend using salt or buying a salt lamp. If the problem is worse then it needs to be addressed properly by looking at the window installation or a trim product. "
To get rid of mold already on your windows, Mrs Hinch fans have suggested using Astonish's Mold & Mildew spray, which costs just £1, before switching to the salt method.
