The description for Asda's Just Essentials Thin Bleach reads: 'Pour around the bowl to remove streaks and stains. No need to rinse. Use the latter at night to kill all germs, deodorize and leave you smelling fresh and clean. It can also be used to clean toilet brushes and unclog sinks.
42p's product comes in a two liter bottle which means it will last a long time when cleaning toilets. When it comes to cleaning the toilet brush, Brits only need a small amount of bleach, around 200ml. This means that every time a toilet brush is used to clean, it costs around 4p to clean.
Others have recommended using white vinegar to sanitize and deodorize, although it can take over an hour to get a germ-free brush.
Some Ms Hinch fans have advised to ditch a toilet brush altogether as it "carries too many germs" and some say they need to be replaced every month.
