How to clean your mill with little effort

What you need:

• Some Q tips
• 3-4 ounces 50-90% frictional alcohol
• paper towels
• 1 tablespoon salt
• A Ziploc bag
• Lemon juice (optional)

How to clean your mill: step by step

Note: If you have a plastic and paint mill, follow these steps carefully. Rubbing alcohol can possibly eliminate the paints painted on your grinder.

1. Empty and disarm your mill. This ensures that we do not lose any cannabis trapped in the crusher before the cleaning process. If your grinder has a keying compartment, we recommend that you do not include it in the cleaning process unless you scratch it before preserving your jaw.
2. Add the alcohol and salt to the Ziploc bag. This will create a smooth but dissuasive solution that will not combine and function as a debugger.
3. Insert each piece of the mill one layer at a time into the solution. Close the bag.
4. Shake the sealed solution vigorously for 5 to 10 minutes. You will immediately notice how the enclosed resin and cannabis reach the cleaning solution.
5. Remove the clean layer from your grinder and place it on a paper towel. Repeat step 4 with the additional layers of the shredder until completion. If the solution becomes cloudy, prepare a new batch of alcohol / saline in your sealable bag. If you have lemon juice, you can add it to an empty sealable bag and handle your mill. It is well known that lemon juice and other citrus fruits have antioxidant properties that can be useful when cleaning a metal mill.
6. Once the cleaning solution has been applied to all layers, use some Q-tips to get cracks and crevices in your crusher. If your grinder came with a small paintbrush, now is the time to use it!
