CAMBRIDGE (CBS) - Although the weather does not look like spring in the first week of April, the spring cleaning season is upon us.
In March, many owners left many owners with damaged trees, structural damage and branches that littered the garden.
"It has been a terrible April so far, but we're starting to return to the gardens," said gardening expert Mark Saidnaway of Pemberton Garden Service Inc ..
"What you will find for many people has many evergreens, and with the abundant snow we had in early March, many of them weighed a lot and studied two," says Saidnaway.
If you've been causing damage to your garden for several years, experts say you'll add a stake or support your evergreens to keep them intact.
Have you noticed many brown leaves on your plants and shrubs?
It's a winter burn, to Saidnaway. "The snow is wonderful to have in the cold months, because it helps protect plants, but if there is no snow cover, cold winds can burn ... What you can do is to remove these leaves and new shoots appear"
"Fertilization, size and hope for new and comfortable growth," said Saidnaway.
The bujes are a common plant for winter fires.
We've found some new shoots growing in the rubble, a sign that warmer temperatures are just around the corner.
