United Kingdom: drier time to return to the national holiday

After a wet and cold women's day on Friday, the driest weather for the national holiday on Saturday is on the Aintree racetrack in Liverpool.

The rain on Friday morning made the brollies a necessity for the women's outfits and led some riders to take their horses out of the next races.

Minella Rocco is one of the horses that will not show up on Saturday's race due to fears that the rain will weaken the course too much, according to the Grand National Twitter page.

For the spectators and the riders and horses that stay in the competition, the Great National Holiday will present drier conditions.

The clouds starting on Saturday should give way until noon and noon sunny times. The softest air will complete the bright sky with temperatures of up to 15 C (60 F).

Temperatures must not be too far away from this mark when the Grand National Grand Race takes place at 5:15 pm.

"The main problem with the National Holiday weather is that air quality may not be healthy for sensitive groups," said AccuWeather meteorologist Tyler Roys. "Even outside of Aintree, people with respiratory problems, the elderly and children in the south of the UK should avoid intensive activities."

A torrential rain might try to spread over Aintree on Saturday night with a higher probability on Saturday night on Sunday.

The high winds are not expected to be a driver problem as the winds average 6-12 mph (8-16 km / h) from south to southeast.

After the Great National Day, attention is expected across the UK to meet the warmest day of this year in the middle of next week.
