After Suzie divorces her useless husband, she now needs your help to make her house as cool as she wants it to be for a fresh start. Now you have to play the role of the perfect house cleaner and clean every corner of Suzie's house in this relaxing but ultimately frustrating game, PowerWash Simulator.
FutureLab's new washing simulation game, PowerWash Simulator, is essentially an FPW (first-person washer) game that gives you three water hoses to clean the entire exterior of a very dirty house and make it look as cool as a person can leave after a good night. Sleep.
Game control is fairly simple. It has its standard WASD for movement, " Shift " for squatting (for cleaning difficult lower corners) and " Space " for jumping. To extract water from a pipe, hold down the left mouse button and can scroll to change the type of water pipe.
There are three different colored water hoses that you can manage in the game : yellow, red and orange. Each of them comes with a different mouthpiece. Yellow has a wide nozzle, each covering a large area, while red has a narrow nozzle that draws a water line and effectively cleans the narrow corners of the house. Orange, on the other hand, has a nozzle that lies between the two previous ones and a flat nozzle that is useful for cleaning windows and doors.
When I started playing it was really a feeling of relaxation to see the dirt and grease disappear to reveal a bright and clean house. Trust me, for an obsessive-compulsive disorder like me, it was relaxing, like hearing birdsong in the morning after a snowy night. However, since I cleaned most of the house, it ended up being pretty difficult for me to find the remaining dirty areas that need cleaning to finish the game . This is where the frustration begins.
However, I am not one who gives up so easily and I have found a way to find these areas. First I saw on the control page that pressing "Tab" would give hints. So after cleaning 98.5% (there are drops of water showing the percentage of the house to be cleaned) I hit the tab. At that time I knew that pressing the "Tab" key (for a short moment) would highlight the still dirty areas .
Tip: If you have difficulties (which will certainly be the end) to find the still dirty areas, you can continue and end the game with the "Tab" button.
PowerWash Simulator should now be released on Steam in Early Access later this year. FutureLab "however thought that people could now reduce stress." in the middle of the current pandemic. Therefore, they have to itch.io a first demo of the game released , which allows you to manage the first project, namely the cleaning of Suzie's house.
So if you want to check PowerWash Simulator, go to itch.io to download it. After you finish the game, let us know in the comments below how much water you used to finish the game. Good cleaning!
