TMRW spoke to a combination of beauty and health professionals to find out what you need to know before booking your next glamor session. Good preparation!
1. Beauty professionals take safety seriously
Even before the pandemic, beauty professionals were well versed in the art of providing plumbing, but they've been stepping up their game in recent months.
"Safety, health and wellbeing are our top priorities as we continue to walk into our customers' homes. Fortunately, there are many on- demand beauty services that make it easy for customers to get their hair or makeup done outdoors in the name of safety.

Whether you have a nice patio or a spacious garage, there are plenty of alternative places to plan your glamorous meeting. Just try to find a place with good natural light, especially if you are planning on doing your makeup.
The ability to move your glamorous session overseas is especially helpful when you're preparing for a wedding and don't know which members of the bride are still vaccinated.

3. Beauty professionals are happy to answer all of your questions.
Navigating beauty services during the pandemic has been confusing for many of us, and when considering booking a home or local beauty service you may have some questions. Fortunately, companies are making it easier than ever for their customers to find the answers they need to make an informed decision.
"Customers can chat with us about dating and security issues anytime through our app or website," said Edward.
Easier said than done, but you should also feel empowered to ask your beauty professional about your vaccination status.
"Those who have been vaccinated have a CDC card signed by the health care provider stating the type of vaccine they received. You can consult the CDC vaccination card to make sure a person is 'fully vaccinated'" said Tart. I.
4. Would you like to use your own makeup or beauty tools? All you have to do is ask!
Many beauty services are open to special accommodations for clients who may have concerns during these stressful times. For example, if you'd like a makeup artist to use your own brushes, or if you'd prefer a stylist to use your own hair tools, don't be nervous about asking for them.
"In today's environment, we all work hard to protect one another," said June. "If a client feels unsafe when the stylists arrive, I'll be sure to explain why and ask the stylist to make the necessary adjustments if they are above CDC and WHO guidelines.
5. These appointments are generally low risk. Just be careful
With proper security measures, home and on-site beauty appointments at this time are generally low risk as long as both parties are symptom free and have not recently been exposed to anyone with COVID.
