A CLEAN guru has shared some simple homemade products that will save you money and are easier to use than store-bought items.

For daily counter cleaning, Melissa explains, all you need is two cups of water, a teaspoon of dish soap, and 10 drops of your favorite essential oils.

All you have to do is put the ingredients in a cooking spray bottle, shake it, spray the product on the area you want to clean and let it sit for about a minute before wiping it off.

The next step is to simply wipe the counter with a microfiber cloth in an S-shape motion.

The second type of DIY cleaner that Melissa suggests to her viewers is a floor cleaner.

To make a general floor cleaner, list the following soap ingredients: "1 1/2 cups water, 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/8 cup isopropyl alcohol, two drops of dish soap, and five to 10 drops of your favorite essential oil, something that's optional is."

And when it comes to homemade glass and mirror cleaners, Michelle explains that to make a scented cleaner, you need one cup of white vinegar, one cup of water, and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil.

She promises her viewers that the tiny droplets in the oils will not show on glass or mirrors.
