If you have a TV set, be it a new leader - work with 4K Ultra HD sparkling age or SD-TV, make sure it gets dirty at some point. Before you use detergents, you should know how to clean your TV without rendering it unusable. Some manufacturers suggest using custom-made cleaning products to mend the screen, but they are often expensive and useless.

So instead of forcing your hard-earned money, we recommend that you make your own solution with a mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol. This is the most economical solution you can find. By using soft and easy-to-maintain products that are not harmful to your TV, the method below is the most economical solution you can use, and what's equally important is a great job. You should do that.

What you need

  • Two pieces of soft and lint-free cloth (preferably microfiber)
  • Distilled water
  • isopropyl alcohol
  • measuring cup
  • Q-tips (optional)

Clean the screen

The first thing you should do is turn off your TV and make sure you have a chance to calm down. Wait until it feels warm before you continue.

Then remove dust from the screen to remove any debris and then wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining dust. If you can not see the visible areas after spraying, stop here.

If your screen is still dirty, it's time to build your own cleaning solution. First mix the isopropyl alcohol with water using a measuring cup and make sure that the solution consists of equal parts of water and alcohol. If you do not have a measuring cup, try a glass of juice or a shot glass to measure the quantities before mixing. In any case, be careful not to abuse alcohol: the resulting solution should not contain more than half of the alcohol or damage the screen.

Immerse your cloth in your new solution and stop to remove excess moisture. You want the cleaning cloth to be wet but not wet. Then gently wipe off the damp cloth on the screen.

Then use the second lint-free cloth to dry the screen. Do not leave moisture on it; You want it to be completely dry before turning the TV on again.

Additional tips

  • If your TV's telescope makes it difficult to clean the corners and edges of the screen, use a Q-tip immersed in the solution to reach hard-to-reach areas.
  • Be sure to use the right chemical. Do not use ethyl alcohol, acetone, toluene, ethyl alcohol, ammonia or methyl chloride, just isopropyl alcohol.
  • Always use a clean cloth, as the hard particles may get caught in the fibers of the fabric and scratches will no longer occur.
  • Make sure your cleaning cloth is wet and not wet . He does not want the drops to flow on his screen every time he stops.
  • Do not use Windex or other glass cleaners! These solutions usually contain ammonia and damage the screen of your TV.
  • Do not use paper towels; They leave small pieces of paper that can ruin the screen.
