The only thing that * really * keeps the houseplants alive

Our indoor gardens keep us relaxed, clean our air and give our room a boisterous atmosphere. But you need more than just beautifully patterned planters and occasional watering to keep them in top shape. You really have to clean them. Yes, like all other things in your house, these plants need some dust from time to time. Erin Marino, Plant Lover and Director of Marketing Marketing in the Modern Garden Center Online The Sill , shares his tips on cleaning equipment that will help keep your home cool (and alive).

Keep it without dust.

The dust soon accumulates in a habitat, especially around the plants. Greening not only looks less bright, but it can block sunlight and reduce the photosynthetic capacity of your plant.

Marino suggests shaking her plants every month. You can * gently * clean your sheets with a soft cloth, sponge or towel. "At home I use a paper towel moistened with warm water, warm water or lye, and the cold faucet could damage the factory," Marino adds.

(Specific) plants take a shower.

For green areas that are a bit difficult (or dangerous) to clean by hand, a shower could be the perfect choice. "Think of a plant in its natural environment: frequent rains (or occasional cacti living in the deserts) help keep the leaves of a plant clean, so just mimic this natural event," explains Marino.

When watering / bathing plants, make sure that you are not standing over water and choosing hot water. You may like a hot shower, but your plants certainly are not.
