Coronavirus restrictions in the UK mean many people will be spending more time at home. If you stay inside, the experts have shared their cleaning tips to keep the property dirt-free.

As the second coronavirus lockdown begins in England, many Britons will be monitoring their homes.

Since the coronavirus pandemic began, research has shown 54% of Britons felt that cleaning at the surface level was not enough.

Data collected by Lupe Technology also showed that 58% of people said they were more aware of the germs entering their home.

To counteract this, the developers of the wireless Lupe Pure Cordless vacuum cleaner Pablo Montero and Lucas Horne shared their cleaning tips.

They said, "No matter how much effort you go into and how hard you scrub, sometimes you can never feel like you are cleaning your house the way you want it to be."

They said, "Many leave the dust and polish at the end of the cleaning process, but there is a better way.

"Dusting before vacuuming and mopping removes all dust particles from surfaces. When vacuuming, the vacuum cleaner's dust filter is more likely to meet all of these specifications.

"It can help people with asthma and allergies breathe easier. This is especially important if you are spending a month indoors."

"It's often forgotten, but don't forget to spend time cleaning up," they continued.

"The upper corners of rooms, shelves and cupboards are places of refuge for fine dust and allergens. If you don't clean them, you'll never be as clean as you want them to be.

"When these particles are disturbed by things like opening and closing doors, they go anywhere.

"Remember to clean highly and all of your belongings will be cleaner."
