Cleaning our makeup brushes is a task that most of us don't do often enough, if we're completely honest.
As arduous as it is, it's no wonder we leave this special task to the long finger, even though our make-up brushes are a breeding ground for smelly bacteria.
If you wash the brushes with hot soap after a long time, the sink becomes messy and it never feels like you've completely washed off your makeup, especially if it's been a long time.
Then there is all the rigor of wrapping them in a clean towel and letting them dry for hours.
You'll need to have a spare set ready or make sure you don't leave that night (no doubt a fairly simple request at this point).
A recent poll by fashion and beauty retailer PrettyLittleThing found that one in 20 Irish women admit they NEVER clean their makeup brushes.
It's disgusting, it has to stop and we're here to make it easier for you.
UK top makeup artist Wayne Goss shared his simple tip on how to clean, dry and disinfect your brushes in the hospital in just 60 seconds - yes, really.
All you need is a clean plate, a couple of rubber teeth, and a bottle of alcohol, which you can buy at most drug stores.
If there are children in the house, be sure to keep them at a safe distance while cleaning.
Then just follow these three simple steps:
1. Pour some alcohol on your plate
2. Rotate the brush until the makeup runs out of liquid.
3. Pat dry with paper towels and set aside.
Your brushes will be perfectly clean and dry in a minute!

Wayne shared the advice with 3.8 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, with nearly 400,000 total views and thousands of fans swearing by his pointless method.
One follower praised: "I was trying to find out how I could make my brushes super clean and dry quickly. I never thought of that!"
Another confirmed: "It's that simple, quick and easy, thanks for the advice x"
Meanwhile, a third fan spoke for all of us as she said, "This is going to change my life, hahaha!
"I'm always so bad at cleaning my brushes because it takes a long time to dry and I only have a limited number of brushes.
"I will definitely be cleaning my brushes regularly now."
